Politics is quite a lax subject, so we at the Politics Wiki don't try to go so strict. However, we have rules to ensure our wiki is in good style and our users see this as a place to collabarate and respectfully criticize.

Manual of Style

  1. All articles must be related to Politics. From scandals to entire countries, it must have politics as the main subject. Exemptions are from biographies of political figures, but their political involvement must be mentioned.
  2. Absolutely, positively, no bias on articles. Don't orient an article liberally or conservatively. Everything in an article must be factual. Opinions are to be only in the comments, blogs, forums....pretty much anywhere except the articles.
  3. Political Jokes are quite funny. However, as opinions, they are to be refrained from articles.
  4. No vandalism . Vandalism may result in a block, and spam will also be reported to the volunteer spam task force, who may block you across all of Fandom if needed.
  5. No plagiarism. Cite your sources and properly attribute quotes (MLA citation isn't required, but leave a link to where you got the information). Warnings and blocks will be issued if you simply copy and paste things from other wikis or news outlets.
  6. Profanity is tolerated, but do not use it to personally attack others.
  7. No Fanon on Articles. That goes to the Alternate History Wiki.
  8. Have Fun. The goal of this wiki is to edit, collaborate, and civilly debate. Not to bully or discriminate.

Criticism

THERE IS A COMPLETE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRITICISM AND HARASSMENT.

What is not criticism?

  • Threats
  • Discrimination
  • Bullying

Avoid personal attacks towards others because of their viewpoints. It's fine to disagree and encouraged to civilly debate other users, but anything that qualifies as the above will result in a warning, and if continuous, a block.
